The Art of Revision
Learn to polish your prose through effective editing, grammar refinement, and supportive peer review workshops.
Christian Perspective
Explore how Faith informs our narrative, recognizing writing as a form of stewardship and creative service.
Class Schedule
The 6-week workshop runs October 12 - November 19, 2026. Students work through guided online lessons and writing activities during the week, with a 45-minute live class every Thursday from 6:30pm-7:15 PM CT.
What Students Will Create
One Story, Start to Finish
Rather than jumping between unrelated writing prompts, students will develop one original short story throughout the six weeks. We'll move from brainstorming and character development through plot, conflict, scene writing, dialogue, revision, and a polished final draft.
Teacher Feedback
Guidance Along the Way
Creative writing is easier when students don't have to figure everything out alone. Students receive teacher feedback throughout the writing process, along with opportunities to ask questions, work through story problems, and strengthen their drafts before completing their final story.
Bring Your Story to Life
Creative Writing Workshop is a supportive, low-pressure place for middle and high school writers to experiment with ideas, strengthen their storytelling skills, and actually finish a piece of writing they're proud of.

By the end of six weeks, each student will have completed one polished original short story, and learned a repeatable writing process they can use again.
